About Leak Fix Experts
A leak-detection service focused on one city and one county: Columbia, Tennessee, and Maury County. We don't do general plumbing. We find leaks.
Detection first, always
Most plumbing companies treat leak detection as a side task between repairs. We flipped it around. Our whole job is locating the source of water where it shouldn't be, using non-invasive methods first and opening things up only when there's no other way and you've said yes.
The reason is simple: repairs are expensive, and exploratory demolition is the most expensive kind. Every unnecessary hole in drywall or section of dug-up yard adds cost and time. A careful detection visit up front keeps the repair that follows as small as it can be.
What a visit looks like
It starts with questions, not tools. When the problem started, where it shows up, what your water bill's been doing. Then a meter check with everything shut off, a visual inspection of the likely areas, and detection work matched to the situation: acoustic listening, thermal imaging, tracer gas, or pressure testing, the methods commonly used in the trade.
You get findings in plain language: what we found, where it is, and what it means for the repair. The leak location gets marked, and you'll have written notes you can hand straight to your plumber or contractor.
What we don't do
We don't do general plumbing repairs, remodels, or installations. If a company tells you it does everything, leak detection is usually the thing it does least. Staying in our lane is how we stay good at it.
Why Columbia
Columbia's mix of historic homes, mid-century neighborhoods, and newer subdivisions means we work with just about every pipe material and foundation type in Maury County. Clay soil, humid summers, and real winter freezes each create their own leak patterns, and knowing those patterns is part of the job.
If you've got a suspected leak anywhere in Columbia or the surrounding communities, that's our whole reason for existing. Give us a call.
